How long will it take for my website to be made
and online?
Just one week! However, if any problems arise -
i.e. you don't supply us with all of the pictures you want on the site
in the week, we can't finish it in this time. We will work extremely
hard to meet the deadline and promise not to let you down.
Why do Website In A Week charge such a low cost for
their web design?
We feel that it is grossly unfair that large web
design companies charge thousands for websites to be designed. We
charge a cost that is fair and affordable for businesses of all sizes.
We also bring in the personal touch, where we work closely with you to
get the website that you want.
How much will it cost if I want Website In A Week
to come back later in the year to alter my website?
If anything goes wrong that is our fault i.e. we
have included a hyperlink to wrong page in the website, we will correct
it for FREE. We would like to stress that this is very unlikely - we
run extensive checks of the site to ensure no faults are there.
If you want us to make an alteration to the site the fee will be
negotiable, usually dependent on the extent of the work required. Be
assured it will be a low cost!
Can I incorporate e-commerce into my website?
Yes you can! When we design the website we will
include e-commerce into your website. See price list for e-commerce
prices.
What is web hosting?
Web Hosting is simply a company who will hold and
constantly run your website on the World Wide Web. You could run your
website from your computer for free... however every time you turned
your computer off, the website would not be live on the internet. This
is why we need to use hosting companies - they use servers - computers
that are always on!

What is a domain name?
A domain name is the simply the name of your
website! i.e. this websites domain name is:
www.websiteinaweek.co.uk

Domain names are cheap to buy - a " .co.uk" is only about £7 for 2
years. We can search domain names for you at no extra cost and find one
suited to your business. It must be noted that not all domain names are
available - many have already been used. We will endeavour to find one
that suits your business.
Do I have to buy a domain name or can I use my
existing one?
You can use your existing one by all means. We
will help you transfer it to the hosting company you choose. This is
very easy and quick to do.
What is SEO (search engine optimization)?
SEO is the process of improving the volume and
quality of traffic to a website. By using this your website will appear
higher up on a search engines list. Imagine being on the top of
Google's list when
you type your companies name in - SEO will help this!
Can SEO be incorporated into my website?
Yes we incorporate this into our web design at no
extra cost. We will ask you to pick 5 key words. We will then use SEO
and when these key words are typed into a search engine your site will
be likely to be in the results.

Yes as many as you like ... maybe not in a week

We use the latest web design technology to create
websites. HTML, ASP, PHP, ASP.NET 2.0 are all included.
Is a website only used for advertising a business?
No absolutely not. Often a business will not want
to expand. A website is so useful as it can provide existing customers
with information about the company 24/7; giving them a sense of security
and an easy way of contacting the company.
What costs will be involved in running my

The only costs will be: 1. Our low web design
fee. 2. Buying the domain name (about £10). 3. A monthly fee to a
hosting company (about £4.69 p/m) . And that's it - a cost-effective
